Job description

pxlence is a Ghent University spin-off company specialized in targeted resequencing, a breakthrough molecular lab method in clinical genetics. We are looking for a PhD fellowship candidate for a research project on the development of state-of-the-art next-generation sequencing tools for the detection of actionable mutations in cancer patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine fundamental research in the context of a PhD with relevant industrial experience in a biotech company with a small and young team. Research will be conducted in an academic research lab at the Ghent University hospital campus.
